IMSDALSGÅRDEN SØNDRE (TJERNE)
First settled in 1683 by Olav Halvorsen Vestgård from Stor-Elvdal.
Owner, Kåre Huse 1933 - son of Harald Huse 1895-1969 and Marie Haugen 1897-1965, married
1964 with Erna Selvnes, Agdenes in Sør-Trøndelag 1940 - daugther of Ole Selvnes 1903-1996 and Solveig (born) Selvnes 1913.
Son 1: Harald 1964 married whit Siw Iren Holton Pedersen, children: Sunniva 1991, Mathias 1992.
Son 2: Helge 1970.
Other brothers and sisters: Morits 1927, Paul 1929 and Magne 1936.

IMSDALSGÅRDEN NORDRE (VESLEHESSEN)
Under the census in 1875, Iver Nilsen and Marit Engebretsdatter lived in Veslehessen. No buildings here since 1900. Earlier tenant by Gudbrand Hallum married with Embjørg. Now owned by Morits 1927, Paul 1929 and Magne Huse 1936. Sadly, all houses are gone, and no photos left.

HUSET (ØVERGÅRD)
The farm has been in family for tree generations. Owner, Hallvar Huset 1915 - son of Hans Huset
1880-1969 and Gunda Mytting 1882-1975, married 1973 with Eva Marit Messundtstad, from Stange, Hedmark 1942 - daughter to Nils Messundtstad 1913-1995 and Elida Kjærnli 1913.
Son : Hans Brynjulf 1976.
Other brothers and sisters: Gudveig 1906, Mattias 1909, Margit 1911, Svein 1914, Astrid 1916, Erik 1919, Mari 1921, Grim 1922, Søren 1925 og Egil 1928.

KROKBAKKEN
The farm has been in family from 1909. Owner, Gunnar Stuen - son of Einar Stuen 1900-1975 and Gudveig Huset 1906-1984.

FINNSET
Farming of new land, land bought from government in 1934, sold to KROKBAKKEN in 1964, earlier owned by Hallstein Stuen 1905 - son of Hans Stuen and Marie Løkkom, married 1938 with Halljerd Korssletten.

IMSDALEN SCHOOLHOUSE
This school was built in 1940, but population did not increase, and the school building had to close. Teaching before 1940 were held on Ormsætra, 9 to 12 weeks every summer. Before instruction moved, 49 kids had all school attendance on Ormsætra, and totally 18 teachers had lessons there. |

HIRKJØLEN
The farm has been in family from around 1820. Owner, Hallkjell Hirkjølen 1932-1998 - son of Søren Hirkjølen 1893-1976 and Ester Viktoria Jonasson, Dalarna, Sweden 1909-1941, married 1956 with Marit Kjellaug Kjølhammar 1933, Stor-Elvdal - daughter of Bjarne Kjølhamar 1909 and Asta Mathisen 1911.
Son 1: Halvor 1957 married with Bodil Thoresen, children: Karl Marius, Olav August 1995 og Guro Johanne 1997
Son 2: Torbjørn 1959
Son 3: Steinar 1960

STORFJELLSTUA
Stofjellstua café opened up in 1966 (built summer 1965 by Morits). Later 8 huts and camping-ground were added to property.
Owner: Morits 1927-1999, son of Harald Huse 1895-1969 and Marie Haugen 1897-1965,
married 1966 with Solbjørg 1943.

SKJERDINGEN MOUNTIAN HOTEL
Hotel 850 meters above sealevel, with traditions back to 1948.
200 sleeping accommodation, divided in: hotel with 120 beds and 80 beds in cabins, swimming pool, tennis court, ski hill, naturtrack, around 100 km ski track, camping-ground.

ØVRE IMS-ENDEN (LIJORDSEGGA)
Tenant, Olaf married to Ellen Borgedal, with four girls (Kari, Åse, Eli, Olga) and six boys (Morten, Mauritz, Einar, Sverre, Torleif and Gjermund) left Imsdalen in the middle of 1950. Imsenden are now property of the Lund family. |

NEDRE IMS-ENDEN (KROKBAKKEN)
Tenant farm in 1920, Johan and Gunda Dahlen rent the place with four boys and three girls. Johan Dahlen became the last farmer south of Imssjøene. They moved around 1950.

ORMSÆTRA "Sæter" for Tjerne, Nystumoen and Øvergård, later used by Imsdølene, who stayed from midsummer to middle of September |

RUNDHALLA
Tjerne, Nystumoen and Øvergård had a deal on use of "Ormsætra". Nystumoen og Øvergård should stay on "Rundhalla" until 1.st July, and then move the animals to Ormsætra and stay there to September. After that, they should move back to "Rundhalla" and stay there rest of fall. Tjerne used "Ormsætra" hole summer.

STORFJELLSÆTRA
From early 1600, Landet farm in Stor-Elvdal use this place as "sæter".
High mountain boarding house, finished in 1881, room for between 50 and 60 guests.
The place was famous for its food. Owners today, Mona and Anders Landet, Stor-Elvdal.

FAMPESÆTRA
Fampesætra probably built early 1600. Today Fampesætra belongs to
Lijordsegga in Stor-Elvdal.

MIKKELSLÅA
Mikkelslåa, "sæter" used by farms south of Imssjøene. Nedre and Øvre Ims-Enden took the animals up here early on summer. |

ÅSDALSÆTRA
Åsdalsætra, built early 1800, and used as "sæter"
by farmer from Gudbrandsdalen. "Sætra" are well known among hunters and animal shepherds.

HELAKSÆTRA
"Sæter" used by farmers from Stor-Elvdal, Åsmund Olafson Vinje (Poet) passed by, and maybee he wrote his famouse words: "no ser eg ater slike fjell og dalar som i min ungdom eg såg"
